The most obvious results for working out either muscles is seen on the distance runners (often thin but fit nonetheless) and the sprinter (broad muscular legs). The former is working out the slow twitch muscles and the latter, working out the fast twitch. Obviously the sprinter’s build is what you want to have. But it does raise an interesting note on technique.
